About Us

We are Dmitriy and Elen, a married couple currently living in suburban Seattle.

We both love to travel so much, which let us to accumulate memories and now we are doing it together with our daughter Nelly. My biggest travel dream used to be to visit all 50 states, which became true in 2012 and my biggest dream now is to visit all continents (I have two to go).

By this time, I have traveled to 48 countries and territories, Elen to 40 and together with Nelly we have visited 28 countries (Nelly is only 6 years old).

I was born in Kazakhstan and my wife Elen was born in Ukraine. We both immigrated to Seattle in mid 90s and first met in 2004 near downtown Seattle. Our first conversation started talking about her recent month long trip to China and my recent 5 week trip to Europe. She had many questions about Europe and I had number of questions about China. Then we got married in 2006 and travel together around the world as much as we can since.

I hope that sharing our travel memories, stories and impressions will inspire many families to find ways to travel more which will open up opportunities to become stronger, closer and simply happier together as a family.
